Bella is a six-year-old miniature fox red Labradoodle and belongs to Mrs Myers. 

She is calm, gentle and friendly as well as deemed hypoallergenic. She is based in the office but can be seen during playtimes and whole school events.  She generally works three days a week.

Bella has undergone specific and specialised training to be in school and is fully insured.

Evidence shows that there are many benefits to having a dog in school.

Bella’s role in school is varied, including helping to calm children down, improve academic achievement, motivate, teach responsibility and encouraging children to respect all life. She loves listening to the children read, and the children are excited and keen to read to her too.
