they return.
Security
There is no supervision for children before 8.40 am. The gate will be locked at 9.00 am.
Food
Fruit only at breaktimes please.
Lunch - children are expected to bring a balanced lunch in their lunch boxes.
No fizzy drinks or glass bottles.
Parking
Please avoid parking, on the
zig-zag lines, in the lay-by or in front of the school gate as this is
very dangerous for children and difficult for school buses. The school
car park is for staff & official school visitors only, please DO NOT use
at ANY time.
Uniform
Please help us by labelling
clothes, kit, lunch boxes, etc., Children should not use gel in their
hair or wear any kind of make-up. Jewellery should not be worn except
for stud earrings which may be worn but must be removed for P.E. and
swimming. These are County rules for safety based on experience of
children stabbing their feet on earrings. If they cannot be removed
please supply plasters to cover.
Bus
We would very much appreciate
your support in encouraging the children to sit sensibly in their seat.
Any problems should be reported to the driver in the first instance.

Health
The School Doctor and Nurse visit each term. New entrants usually have a medical during their first year at school, always with parents' knowledge and permission. The School Health Team is based at Brookside clinic in Aylesbury but there is a Drop-In Clinic at Springhill Club on the third Thursday of every month. Further details available from school or clinic.
Behaviour
We encourage a positive
approach to behaviour based on success, praise and reward. We encourage
parents to contact us with concerns we will do likewise as early as
possible.
