Lakeside 20-24th May 2002
Year 5 spent a wet but wonderful
week at the YMCA National Centre at Lakeside on Lake Windermere.

Sleeping
in tents and enjoying three activity sessions each day all the children
met and overcame personal and team challenges during the week.
Activities

runway "ZIP Wire" over water

fire for the whole party

Climbing and Abseiling 'real rocks'
All the
children were a credit to themselves and the school the whole time and
kept up high spirits despite very wet conditions with heavy downpours and
sometime thunder and lightening |
